Coming of Age in Johnson County: 1960-1976

In a period defined by national politics, war in Vietnam, and a cultural revolution, this exhibit explores how Johnson Countians collectively and individually responded to the issues facing them, as well as how local communities managed the challenges brought about by the massive growth taking place in the county. Christmas at Lanesfield
Discover what Christmas meant to school children in rural Kansas at the turn of the 20th century. The restored one-room schoolhouse will be decorated for a 1904 Christmas. Join in on the festivities and make your very own Christmas ornament. All ages!
