This collection contains a partial index of articles, clippings, pamphlets and other ephemera collected by the Johnson County Library's Regional Reference department in a local history vertical file over the course of many years. The Local History Index will allow you to see what items are contained in the file and where they originally came from in the interest of facilitating study and research of important topics relating to the history of the county and surrounding areas.
Due to copyright restrictions, these items are not available online in this collection, but staff of the Johnson County Library can assist you in locating the item, either from the vertical file or the original source material.
Work on the Index is ongoing and new records will consistently be added as they become available.
