Description	Black and white photograph of a woman operator at the Stilwell phone exchange switchboard. In this picture a woman is sitting in a chair in front of the telephone switchboard with her right hand on the lower platform of the wooden desk and her left hand reaching for a plug on the board. The woman is wearing a headset which is plugged into the switchboard below the platform on the front left corner of the desk. The woman is wearing a belted dress with sleeves hitting just at her elbows, a watch, and has curled hair that is pinned back at the sides. Also visible in this picture is a lamp on top of the switchboard and a sheet of paper hanging on the back wall that reads: "; Sales Tax Rates."; Museum Label: "; 1974.30.138"; Written on the back of the photo in pen: "; Stilwell Phone Exchange";
