A. R. T. Baer
A. R. T. Baer was born in Stark co., O, Apr. 26th, 1824. In ’45 he was united in marriage to Miss Sarah Sumner, she died Dec. 26, ’65, leaving nine children, all of whom are still living—one, Amos, still at home. In ’67 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Hattie Snyder, of Kosciusko co., Ind. Mr. B. immigrated to Columbiana County, Ohio, in ’45, to Kosciusko Co., Ind. In ’55 and to this county in ’70 and located near the town of Ocheltree, in a pleasant community, esteemed by all who know him. He is an obliging neighbor, and a useful citizen. To his four daughters, who are married, he gave $1,200 each, and he has a sufficiency of this world’s stores left to prepare for an honorable old age.
