C. G. Case

C. G. Case was born in Kentucky in 1835. (His father still lives in Kentucky, hale and hearty.) In ’57 he married Miss Ann Spencer. In March of the same year he moved to Cass county, Missouri, and in the fall to Aubry Township, Johnson County. He built the claim cabin on the town site of Aubry. This was the first house in the township used as a grog shop, and also the first used as a place of worship. Remaining on his farm, and protecting home during the rebellion, he now has a desirable home in which he enjoys the society of his friends.
