The Johnson County Museum of History features the permanent exhibit Seeking the Good Life. Experience over 120 years of Johnson County history - step inside a Shawnee Council House, peer into an 1880s farmhouse, experience the life of a truck farmer at the City Market, or stroll through the backyards of Overland Park and Mission Hills. A gallery of changing exhibitions means there is always something new at the Johnson County Museum of History.

Seeking the Good Life can be viewed by self-guided tours. Scavenger hunts are available for grades K-12. Guided tours of the changing exhibitions are available for $1 per person and can be given to grades K-12.
